Skills and Qualifications

I am a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (UK);

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Transilvania University followed by a Masters in Analytical (Jungian) Counselling and Psychotherapy at Bucharest University, both programs in Romania;

I completed a short term training program  at Gent University (Belgium) and at C.G.Jung Institute in New York (USA), attending seminars in dream analysis, sandplay, use of fairytales and myths in clinical work.

Whilst my clinical training was broad, over the years I have developed specialties in a few key areas in anxiety, depression and trauma/attachment disorders. The depth of my training allows me to draw on a number of models of CBT, ACT and psychodynamic which means I can be quite eclectic in my approach. My roles over the years have consisted of working with people across the lifespan from young children to adults within public (CAMHS), voluntary and private organisations.
